Senior Medical Receptionist/Secretary.

We are looking for a friendly, personable, reliable and well organised team member. Primarily your role will be supporting a new surgeon who is joining our practice spending the majority of your week in our Kogarah rooms with 1-2 days a week in Darlinghurst. For the right candidate we may consider a 4 day part time role.

Your professionalism, ‘can do’ attitude, patient centricity and commitment to providing exceptional customer service will set you up for success.

You are comfortable operating in a busy environment with a high volume of calls and supporting other teams as required.

Key responsibilities include:

Provide a warm and professional welcome to patients

Professionally answering incoming calls, triage according to agreed procedures and provide exceptional customer service

Making patient bookings and responding to inquiries

Diary management

Management of consulting days/clinics including patient data entry, accounts, clinical files, and correspondence

End of day reconciliation and banking

General administration and office duties

Cleaning and sterilisation of surgical instruments

Surgical bookings

Your skills & knowledge:

High level of attention-to-detail

Experience with Medical software ( ideally Genie)

An ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all patient and practice matters

Ability to multi-task and stay calm in high pressure situations

Well presented with exceptional communication skills.

Committed to providing an exceptional level of customer service

Enjoy working as part of a close-knit team

Possess a polite phone manner

Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
