About the role

V&C Foods is growing and we’re looking for multiple experienced Butchers to join our team in South Nowra, NSW. We have opportunities available across both day shifts and afternoon/evening shifts.

As part of our butchery team, you will be responsible for the cutting, preparing and packaging of a variety of meats to the highest standards, ensuring our customers receive exceptional quality products.

What you'll be doing

Cutting, trimming and preparing meats to customer specifications

Operating and maintaining butchery equipment safely and efficiently

Ensuring all meat products meet food safety and quality standards

Providing outstanding customer service and assisting customers with their selections

Supporting the overall operations of the butchery department

Adhering to all health, safety and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

Formal butchery qualifications or equivalent experience

Excellent knowledge of meat cuts, preparation techniques and food safety

Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide expert product advice

Proficient in the use of butchery tools and equipment

A keen eye for detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently

A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for providing high-quality products
