Due to strong company growth an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Supervisor to join the team. Reporting to the Head of Payroll, this is an exciting opportunity to make an impact in a trusted national presence with key responsibilities will include:

Be part of a large team responsible for processing fortnightly payroll across 3000+ employees.

Provide accurate interpretation and application of Modern Award conditions within a dynamic workforce environment.

Periodic review of statutory calculations including PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation and other calculations.

Partner with key stakeholders to analyse and present changes in labour cost at site level when compared to prior periods.

Lead the review and evolution of payroll systems.

Assist with month end journals and reconciliations.

Provide leadership support to the wider finance team.

Lead and successfully deliver ad hoc projects.

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you must have at least 6-8 years experience in a similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of relevant payroll legislation, taxation and award interpretation. You will also have excellent communication skills, advanced Excel and a genuine drive to make a difference.
