An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Design Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of design projects across a diverse regional landscape.

Your new organisation
As the Design Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving infrastructure design projects from concept to shovel-ready status. Your new role
Working as a Design Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following below:

• Lead and manage the design phase of infrastructure projects including roads, drainage, buildings, and bridges
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement, permits, and approvals
• Oversee consultant procurement and contract management
• Ensure compliance with OH&S, environmental, and quality standards
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and risk registers
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for internal and external audiences
  
  

What you'll need to succeed
You are a proactive and experienced project manager with a strong background in infrastructure design. You thrive in complex environments and have a proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver outcomes that meet strategic and community needs.

• Tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction, or project management (or equivalent experience)
• Extensive experience in municipal infrastructure design and construction
• Strong project and contract management skills
• High-level communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities
• Proficiency in risk management and budget control
