The Role

A Victorian State Government agency is seeking a Project Manager (VPS6) to lead end-to-end project delivery across regulatory operations, on a contract until March 2026 with a strong potential for extension. This role will oversee the coordination and management of complex application processes for regulated entities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with legislative requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the end-to-end assessment process for incoming applications
• Lead project planning, implementation, stakeholder engagement and risk management activities
• Work closely with internal teams and executive leadership to ensure project milestones are met
• Provide high-level advice and reporting on project progress, resource allocation, and emerging issues

About You

• Experienced project manager with strong planning and delivery skills in a public sector or regulatory environment
• Ability to lead complex processes involving multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Strong understanding of governance, reporting, and risk frameworks
• Experience in education or regulatory sectors highly regarded
