The Shire of Wagin Homecare is a well-established and highly regarded provider of aged care services, proudly supporting the communities of Wagin and West Arthur. We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to manage our Homecare program, ensuring the delivery of quality care to our clients.

The ideal candidate will bring experience from a similar role, a strong understanding of in-home community care, and familiarity with the latest Commonwealth Government reforms affecting the sector. As the Homecare Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring exceptional customer service, effective staff management, and robust documentation practices. You will also have excellent communication skills and proficiency with client service management software.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the Homecare program.

· Ensure high standards of client service, staff performance, and care delivery.

· Maintain accurate records, reports, and client documentation.

· Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

What We Offer:

· Remuneration based on the Local Government Officers’ (Western Australia) Award - Level 8, with a base hourly rate of $42.39.

Requirements:

· Current Police Clearance.

· Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment at the Shire’s cost.

· Strong knowledge of community care and the aged care sector.

· Experience in managing staff and implementing efficient care systems.
