About the role
In this pivotal role, you will provide expert advice to senior leaders, lead WHS initiatives, and drive a proactive safety culture. You’ll manage risk assessments, lead investigations, and oversee WHS projects that align with legislative requirements and industry best practices—ensuring our people and programs thrive in a safe and supportive environment.

As a strategic thinker and collaborative leader, you’ll work across multiple sites and teams to embed high-performance WHS practices. Your ability to communicate complex information clearly, manage projects effectively, and lead with integrity will be key to your success. About you

You will have:

  • Proven leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve shared goals.
  • Solid time management and organizational skills to prioritise risk management and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Proven research, analytical skills and use of technology to support project planning and informed decision making.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in managing positive stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem solving, prioritisation skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in WHS, risk and compliance and/or demonstrated extensive experience in relevant field.
  • A current and valid NSW drivers full license.
  • Ability to travel to and work from all Office of Sport sites.
  • Working with Children Check.
