About the Role

We’re seeking a Permanent Part-Time Roadside Assistance Coordinator to join our support team. In this role, you’ll troubleshoot common problems over the phone, arrange towing and repairs, and coordinate with mechanics and service providers to get travellers back on the road quickly and safely.

This role suits someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys problem-solving, and can remain calm and professional when customers need reassurance most.

This role offers 20–30 hours per week on a rotating roster, including some weekends and public holidays, and also requires participation in an after-hours on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities

Handle incoming roadside assistance calls with professionalism and care.

Assess breakdowns, collect details, and provide troubleshooting support.

Coordinate towing services, mechanical repairs, and other roadside providers.

Communicate step-by-step instructions to keep customers informed while waiting.

Keep the customers updated on arrival times and next steps.

Record calls, service requests, and resolutions accurately.

Offer compassionate and professional support to create a positive customer experience..

What We’re Looking For

Experience in customer service, call centre, or roadside assistance (highly regarded).

Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

Motor vehicle- mechanical knowledge.

Ability to stay calm, think clearly, and resolve issues under pressure.

Ability to efficiently use computers and service management tools.

Open to working a rotating roster that includes working every fourth weekend, some public holidays, and after-hours on-call support.
