About the Aboriginal Lands Trust:

The Aboriginal Lands Trust (ALT) is a Statutory Authority under the South Australian Government and is the peak Aboriginal Land holding body in South Australia.

About the Opportunity:

The ALT is seeking an experienced and motivated Finance Officer to work closely with the Business Manager to provide day to day accounting and financial support.

What You’ll Do:

· Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

· Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow to support decision-making

· Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and audits

· Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance

What We’re Looking For:

· Appropriate qualification/s in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline or extensive experience in a similar role

· Knowledge of compliance standards set by the South Australian Government (desirable).

· Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

· Proficiency in MYOB

· Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and communication skills

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
