About the role

Blag Homes is seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join our growing team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Working closely with our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the broader business objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts
• Prepare monthly financial reports and statements
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Provide administrative support to the Finance team as required
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Accounts Officer or similar role
• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in the use of accounting software Xero
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance preferred
