Carpet Call, Australia’s largest flooring retailer has been established for over 50 years and successfully runs a network of retail & franchise stores in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, along with a national builders’ division catering to some of the largest home builders in Australia. We are currently looking for a passionate full time Receptionist to join our dynamic team and be based in our office/warehouse complex in Balcatta. You will report directly to the State Accountant WA.

What you'll be doing

Answer and direct incoming phone calls, promptly and courteously

Greeting and welcome customers entering our showroom

Building Relationship - Foster positive relationships with customers and different departments, understand their needs

Assisting the Finance & Builders team with administrative tasks such as data entry

Stock Take - be part of the team to preform monthly half day stock take at head office warehouse

Other ac hoc tasks as requested

What we're looking for

Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience, preferably within the building or customer service industry

Strong communicator with ability to build relationships across the organisation.

Work with common sense; Attention to detail and accuracy

Intermediate Excel skills

Ability to priorities and work through multiple tasks

Positive, proactive and "can-do" attitude

Willingness to learn & to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
