Case Manager – Men’s Accommodation & Support (MASS)
Location: Canberra
Salary: Competitive, salary packaging available
No Buzzwords. No BS. Just Life-Changing Work.
At EveryMan Australia, we stand with men who’ve been dropped by the system — men who are written off, forgotten about, or crossed the road to avoid. Men living with trauma, mental illness, addiction, brain injury, disability, or years in custody. Men who’ve been both harmed and caused harm, and who now face life on the margins.
This is not easy work. It’s confronting, complex and sometimes chaotic. But it matters.
We go where others don’t — into public housing flats, boarding houses, prisons, and homes. We show up, listen without flinching, and walk alongside men and their families as they navigate some of life’s toughest challenges.
About the Role:
As a Case Manager in our Men’s Accommodation & Support Service (MASS), you’ll:
Support men leaving custody or facing homelessness to stay housed, safe, and connected.
Provide advocacy, case management, and referrals across housing, health, disability, justice, drug and alcohol, and family/domestic violence services.
Manage complex risks with clarity, empathy, and professionalism.
Re-engage clients with services that may have turned away in the past.
Maintain consistent contact through home visits and community outreach.
Work within a tight-knit team that supports each other as much as their clients.
This is not an entry-level role. You’ll be stretched — but you’ll also be backed by one of the most committed, experienced teams in the sector.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications in social work, psychology, counselling, community services or a related field.
Solid experience working with people with complex needs.
The ability to stay steady under pressure and make decisions that balance boundaries, risk, and empathy.
A willingness to learn, reflect and grow.
Who Should Apply:
People with experience under their belt, ready for challenging but meaningful work.
People who care about social justice, compassion, and accountability.
People who want to bring their whole selves to this role.
People who want their work to matter.
Why Work With EveryMan?
No corporate spin or jargon — just meaningful work.
A team that cares deeply, laughs often, and has each other’s backs.
Salary packaging and professional development opportunities.
The chance to make a real impact in lives where it counts.
Inclusion Matters
We strongly encourage applications from First Nations people, culturally and linguistically diverse communities, people living with disability, and people with lived experience.

About Everyman
EveryMan is an organisation focused on men's issues.
We support men who are at risk of homelessness, living with mental health issues like depression or anxiety, living with disabilities, men who are perpetrators or survivors of violence, men who are ex-prisoners, socially isolated, or having relationship or parenting difficulties.
With over twenty years experience, we have the knowledge and tools to work with men through tough times, for change that matters. We use resources and specialist programs to reach real outcomes.
Every man deserves a chance.
EveryMan has been around for over twenty years, supporting men who are at risk of homelessness, living with mental illness or disability, ex-prisoners, perpetrators or survivors of domestic and family violence, men who are socially isolated, having relationship or parenting difficulties, suffering with depression or anxiety. If you're a man, or a family member concerned about a man, we're here for you.
In 2016 we became EveryMan. This new name is distinctive and makes us recognisable to the wider community. This is important, as we have stepped up as thought leaders who advocate and educate about contemporary men's issues - locally and nationally. Now we can use our experience and understanding to speak out for men's issues across Australia.
