We currently have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our growing team at our Traralgon manufacturing facility.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the smooth and safe operation of our equipment and facilities. Your responsibilities will include

Promptly responding to equipment breakdowns.

Executing/ Developing planned preventative maintenance schedules.

Coordinating with third-party suppliers and contractors for repairs and services.

Supporting the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

Promoting a strong culture of occupational health and safety.

Performing other duties as required, including occasional after-hours call-outs.

Flexibility to work across shifts as needed.

Skills and Experience

We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented technician with:

At least 3 years’ experience in maintenance within a food manufacturing environment.

Experience in the dairy or broader food industry. (Preferred but not essential)

Ability to interpret technical documents and explain issues to non-technical team members.

Strong general maintenance skills and understanding of preventative maintenance and asset management.

A relevant trade qualification or equivalent.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Basic computer literacy for maintenance documentation and reporting.
