We are a small, family-run business and we're looking for a hands-on, organised, and proactive Office Administrator. This all-rounder role supports our office operations across HR, compliance, administration, and personal assistance to the Managing Staff. It’s ideal for someone who thrives in a varied role and enjoys pitching in wherever needed to help the business run smoothly. BAWD Property Trust, NextGen Civil and TFL Franchising.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources & Compliance (Office Management)
Support end-to-end HR processes including resume management, applicant communication, reference checks, and interview coordination.
Draft and maintain interview questions, onboarding documents, contracts, and HR policies.
Keep personnel files and registers up to date.
Assist with WHS compliance, emergency drills, and document controls.
Contribute to internal manuals and plans (People Plan, Communication Plan, Operations Manual).
Help with staff events and team initiatives.
General Administration
Manage mail, phone calls, and office supplies.
Maintain both digital and physical filing systems.
Run local errands (banking, post office, supplies).
Organise meetings: booking, agendas, and minutes.
Perform data entry, general office tasks, and property management inspections.
Liaise with operations for gardening and facilities needs.
Executive Support
Manage and respond to emails on behalf of senior staff with strong attention to communication etiquette.
Organise diaries, appointments, meetings, and travel.
Assist with tenders, supplier onboarding, and subcontractor documentation.
Support business planning and special projects.
Other Duties
Jump in where needed – we’re a small team that values flexibility, teamwork, and initiative.
What We’re Looking For
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Previous experience in office administration, HR, or executive support.
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
A proactive and adaptable team player.
