Transport Allocator

Who Are We:

Vision Road Concep is a privately-owned transport company that has been operating as Tipper Transport hire business in the Australian market for over the last 10 years.

The Role:

The Transport Allocator must be a proactive and cooperative team player who displays excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills. They must be responsible, able to prioritise tasks, have a high level of attention to detail and organisational skills. A sense of initiative, urgency, flexibility, reliability and timeliness is crucial to be successful in this role. They must be analytical, have a good memory and work in a systematic and logical manner. Patience and the ability to handle difficult situations with both staff and drivers and resolve all issues in a calm and professional manner is imperative.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Allocator in the transport industry.

Duties include:

Despatching jobs to our Operators and tipper fleet

Monitoring jobs and communicating with drivers, customers and internal staff

Maximising use of vehicles

Monitoring and revising work schedules as required throughout the day

Problem solving with customers and drivers

Applicants must:

Be computer literate with experience using an electronic despatch system

Have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

Have high level analytical skills with an eye for detail

Be solutions focussed

Have excellent team work

Be Health & Safety focussed

Have a strong knowledge of the Gold Coast and Brisbane areas.
