Job Opportunity: Allocations Officer in the Earthmoving Industry
The Allocations Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless coordination of resources and customer project schedules within the civil construction, demolition, and earthmoving sectors. As part of a small team, this position involves having a strong understanding of mobile plant and truck specifications, efficiently allocating resources to jobs, managing job creation and scheduling within our allocation system, and maintaining accurate and up to date subcontractor documentation. The ideal candidate will bring a high level of organisation, strong communication skills, and a commitment to ensuring that all client and subcontractor needs are addressed promptly and professionally.
This role requires an individual who possesses strong problem-solving abilities and is capable of handling administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Allocate 365 is preferred. The successful candidate will play an integral part in supporting the operational needs of the business while maintaining a focus on efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
Create jobs in our allocation system.
Efficiently allocate resources to various customers jobs and projects across the region.
Review subcontractor documentation and update where necessary to maintain compliance with company standards and WHS regulations.
Provide administrative support and assist with office tasks to ensure smooth business operations.
Address client & subcontractor enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
What We're Looking For:
Experience as an allocator, ideally within the construction or earthmoving industry.
Experience with Allocate 365 or similar allocation systems preferable.
A solid understanding of mobile plant, attachments and truck specifications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and subcontractors.
Exceptional organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of efficiency.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications and data entry for smooth administrative operations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
A professional and self-motivated attitude with a commitment to quality work.
Flexibility to work alternating shifts: 5:30 am – 2:00 pm and 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, with availability to be on-call as required.
