Position Overview:
The Transport Depot Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the depot, ensuring efficient and safe transportation services. You will lead a team of drivers while maintaining high standards of service delivery and compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations of the transport depot, ensuring efficient scheduling and resource allocation.

Supervise and support a team of drivers, providing direction and guidance.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

Monitor and manage fleet performance, including vehicle maintenance and inspections.

Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.

Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

Maintain accurate records and reports related to depot operations.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Depot Manager or in a similar management role within the transport or logistics industry.

Strong understanding of transport regulations and safety standards.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in using transport management software and MS Office.
