Are you ready to bring ideas to life through content?
Do you love telling stories through video, photography, and social media?
Want to help a growing fitness brand reach more people and inspire real change?
This is your opportunity — FitnessLab is expanding, and we’re looking for a creative Content Creator to join our team.
About Us
FitnessLab is a boutique personal training studio with locations in Mosman and Cammeray — and more on the way.
We deliver science-based training, personalised nutrition guidance, and a supportive community environment. Our brand is built on clarity, evidence, and a human touch — helping clients transform confusion into confidence on their fitness journey.
Now, we want to share that story with the wider community through engaging, storytelling, impactful content.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for creating, recording, and editing content that brings FitnessLab’s brand to life and helps us connect with our ideal clients.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll cover three key content pillars:
Educational – simplifying science-based training and nutrition.
Action – showing real sessions, challenges, and behind-the-scenes energy.
Community – celebrating client progress and the FitnessLab culture.
This is a part-time role (10–20 hours per week), with flexibility in scheduling (morning availability is a must). For the right person, there is an opportunity to grow into a larger part-time or full-time position as FitnessLab continues to expand.
Responsibilities
Plan, shoot, and edit short-form content for Instagram & Facebook.
Capture in-studio sessions, events, and community moments.
Create both polished and social-first (UGC-style) visuals.
Work closely with the Head of Marketing to align content with campaigns.
Optimise posts for platform trends (hooks, captions, sound).
Support both paid and organic campaigns through engaging assets.
Stay tuned into social media trends and bring fresh ideas to the team.
About You
We’re looking for someone creative, hands-on, and resourceful. You don’t need to be a professional videographer — but you do need to know how to capture a story, edit for impact, and create content that performs on social platforms.
You’ll thrive if you:
Have experience with social media content creation (photo + video).
Are confident editing short-form video for Instagram Reels & Stories.
Enjoy working independently but also love collaborating.
Can manage time well and deliver on deadlines.
Are curious about fitness and wellness (being active yourself is a plus, but not essential).
Have an eye for storytelling and can balance brand voice with creativity.
Benefits
$35–$45 per hour depending on experience.
Flexibility — 10–20 hrs per week, with opportunity to expand.
Work with a supportive and passionate team.
Be part of an exciting growth phase with new studios opening.
Creative freedom within a clear brand direction.
Exposure to a thriving fitness community and the chance to grow with the brand.
