About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Team Leader to join our team at Freight Link Couriers in Bentley Park. As the Team Leader, you will play a vital role in overseeing the efficient operation of our busy freight facility. This full-time position is essential in ensuring the timely and effective delivery of goods to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the freight, including Bulk and small freight

Manage and support a team of drivers and warehouse staff, ensuring they are properly trained, motivated and working efficiently

Monitor, identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies

Liaise with customers and external carriers to address any delivery queries or concerns

Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff

Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction

What we're looking for

Significant experience in a supervisory or team leader role within the logistics, transport or warehousing industry

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with customers and manage a team

Demonstrated understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes

Familiarity with workplace health and safety regulations and best practices

Proficient in the use of relevant technology and software systems.

A valid driver's license and forklift license would be advantageous
