An excellent opportunity exists for a motivated person to join Explore Industries Australia.

Explore Industries Australia manufacture the Leisure Pools brand and Nexus Pools brand of fibreglass swimming pools. These are internationally recognised brands manufactured in Yatala on the Gold Coast.

From Yatala we bulk freight our products to other distribution yards within Australia and overseas. We also deliver individual swimming pools directly to the homeowner.

Your role will be to lead a small team in our Yatala yard to safely prepare and load all our fibreglass swimming pools and associated equipment onto our specialised trailers using the yard cranes.

This full time position will require a professional attitude along with a solid can do approach.

You will run your small team in a largely autonomous role while coordinating the work with the logistics team also based at Yatala.

You will ensure all trucks are loaded on time to meet the delivery schedules.

Preferred candidates will have:

A sound knowledge of dogging and crane operations,

Previous experience in a distribution yard environment,

At least basic computer skills,

Experience with fibreglass and a willingness to learn how to detail fibreglass swimming pools,

A Safety First attitude,

Professional communication skills with an understanding of a team environment,
