The Opportunity

This is a hands-on delivery role at the heart of a complex HCM implementation. As Project Officer, you’ll support the program through testing preparation, execution, and governance ensuring the right people, processes, and priorities are aligned at every stage.

Working closely with the Test Lead, PMO, and business SMEs, you’ll coordinate sessions, manage reporting rhythms, support testing logistics, and keep momentum high as the business moves into a critical testing phase.

What You'll Do

You'll be the connective tissue across a fast-moving Dayforce implementation, the person who keeps things on track, issues visible, and momentum high. Reporting into the Program Manager and working closely with the Test Lead, you'll coordinate key project activities, support testing readiness, and keep stakeholders informed and aligned. If you're someone who thrives in organised chaos, enjoys driving clarity, and can spot a gap before it becomes a risk, this role will play to your strengths.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting testing readiness by preparing, refining, and loading test scripts into JIRA

Tracking daily test execution, logging defects, and ensuring resolution follow-through

Coordinating key governance deliverables: weekly status reports, SteerCo decks, RAID logs, and meeting schedules

Acting as the go-to person for coordinating SMEs, internal teams, and vendor sessions

Keeping the rhythm of the project moving, from booking workshops to managing daily stand-ups and reporting

Collaborating onsite with HR, Payroll, Ops, and third-party partners

What You'll Bring

You’re a calm, detail-oriented operator who knows how to drive outcomes. You’ve worked on complex projects before, ideally within HCM, Payroll, or HR systems and you’re comfortable being the person who knows where everything’s at and what needs to happen next. If you can handle moving targets, shifting priorities, and multiple stakeholders, you’ll thrive in this role.

We’re looking for:

Experience supporting large-scale tech projects

Strong coordination skills and stakeholder confidence, you keep things on track and people accountable

A solid understanding of testing cycles, script management, and defect tracking

Strong communication skills, clear, concise, and comfortable across all levels of the business

A naturally organised, proactive, and low-ego working style

Hands-on experience with JIRA, MS Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Monday.com will be helpful

Bonus points for experience in Dayforce, but not essential
