KOPWA is a not-for-profit residential aged care facility located in the quiet back streets of Roseville. We care for 102 residents in a newly built, modern home, designed for socialisation and comfort.

We are searching for a special person to step into a family liaison officer role – ensuring the resident and their family have an immediate point of contact to support them from admission onwards.

The Role:

Serve as the main point of contact for families regarding non-clinical updates, concerns, and feedback.

Facilitate regular communication between the facility and families (e.g., newsletters, care meeting invites, updates).

Help families understand facility policies, services, and changes in care delivery.

Admissions, orientations and supporting the transition process into aged care

Organise events and promote family involvement in events, meetings and celebrations

Help maintain a sense of community and connectedness, particularly for residents with limited family contact.

While not clinical, the Family Liaison Officer ensures that palliative care is holistic, family-centered, and compassionate.
