This role requires a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen and excellent management skills to ensure the effective administration of the family's AUS based operations. This role is ideal for an experienced accountant with a strong background in business services.

This individual will report to the family's US based Family Office.

Primary Responsibilities:

Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting of

• AUS based operations.
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity to meet the family's operational needs.
• Maintain strong relationships and coordination with the US Family Office to ensure
• comprehensive management of the family's affairs.
• Communicate financial information in a clear and understandable manner to family
• members.
• Assist in day-to-day operations of the family's personal affairs, including administrative
• tasks.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for family members regarding financial and
• operational matters.

Qualifications:

Business/Commerce degree in Accounting.

Completed CA/CPA qualification.

Minimum 5 years' experience in finance, operations, or a similar role, preferably within a

• family office or wealth management firm.
• Solid month end accounting skills
• Experience with preparing GST, FBT and payroll tax returns.
• Experience supporting agriculture or real estate operations a plus.
• Ability to use, navigate and troubleshoot common client accounting software packages (i.e.,
• QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero)
• Experience with most aspects of accounting and tax compliance, including preparation of
• financial statements, tax reconciliations, income tax returns and tax effect accounting for
• companies, trusts and tax consolidated groups.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of discretion and confidentiality.
