Genetics Australia Holdings, the largest cattle reproduction centre in Australia, is seeking a motivated individual to join our maintenance and animal management team on a permanent, full-time basis. Based in the Western District of Victoria, this role works closely with the Farm Manager in a supportive team environment and would suit an enthusiastic, results-driven person with an interest in bovine reproduction

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

General farm maintenance, including fencing and water repairs

Scheduling and completing preventative maintenance tasks

Assisting with pasture management and hay/silage production

Operating ATVs, front-end loaders, and feeding equipment in line with OHS policies

Supporting animal nutrition programs

Administering animal health treatments safely under veterinary instruction

Adhering to strict animal welfare standards

Assisting with embryo/egg stimulation programming

Coordinating the arrival, departure, and movement of animals

Requirements:

Current car driver’s licence

Experience with ATVs and front-end loaders

Accreditation in chemical handling (advantageous)

Previous farming and animal husbandry experience

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines

Good communication and teamwork skills
