Key Responsibilities:

Design and program small to medium-sized PLC control systems, installation and commissioning projects

Develop HMI systems for PLC and DCS platforms

Provide site maintenance and breakdown support for PLC and DCS systems

Lead electricians during site installation and commissioning

Where required, travel across Australia to deliver machine control and safety projects

Prepare project documentation, manage acceptance and sign-off

Perform CAD design

Project based travel to and from customer sites

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Engineers Australia verified tertiary engineering qualification

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to learning

Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate across disciplines

Programming experience (JavaScript, Python, C#, CSS, GitHub)

Familiarity with cloud-based development and Docker containers

SQL and Power BI knowledge

1–3 years of relevant industry experience

Desirable Skills & Experience:

HMI/SCADA design and programming (e.g., FactoryTalk Optix, FactoryTalk View, Siemens Unified Comfort Panel)

PLC system design and programming

AutoCAD Electrical proficiency

Salary & Career Path:

Base salary: $85k + super, vehicle, phone
