About the role

JLe Lawyers' are seeking a talented and driven Junior Lawyer to join their team in St Albans, VIC. As a Junior Lawyer, you will play a vital role in the organisation, providing legal counsel and representation to clients across a range of litigation law, family law and dispute resolution matters. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career development and growth within the firm.

What you'll be doing

Drafting a variety of legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence

Court appearances

Assisting with the preparation and presentation of cases in court and other legal proceedings

Collaborating with senior lawyers and other team members to deliver high-quality legal services to clients

Staying up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations

Providing exceptional customer service to clients and maintaining strong client relationships

What we're looking for

A law degree and admission to practice as a lawyer in Victoria

Have experience in family law and litigation law.

1-3 years of relevant experience in litigation, family law or dispute resolution, preferably in a law firm or legal environment

Strong research, writing, and analytical skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues

Language advantages; Vietnamese, Chinese (Mandarin)

A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving

A keen interest in and understanding of the legal industry and its developments

Someone that works well under pressure and can think on their feet
