SEQ Drilling is looking for a lead driller to join our team.

SEQ Drilling is a north Brisbane based civil contractor offering HDD and trenching solutions to our clients. We operate HDD rigs from 20,000lbs to 60,000lbs completing a wide range of HDD installations for different utilities such as electrical, gas, telecommunications, water and sewer. We offer a friendly team environment and this role would be suited if you can get the job done and have a laugh doing it. We have a fleet of other 40 items of modern, well maintained plant and equipment, our own diesel fitting workshop and full time mechanics.

Role and Responsibilities:

Lead HDD Crew and report to director

Steering, tracking and operation of HDD Rigs

Completion of permits, pre starts and required paperwork each day

Job planning and location of existing services

Delegation of tasks and responsibilities to staff on site each day

To be considered for this role:

minimum 12 months in a similar position

minimum 3 years HDD experience

able to work away as required

Minimum HR license

Able to use iPad/technology to digitally complete paperwork

White Card

HDD Ticket/VOC

Own transportation to/from depot

Whilst north Brisbane based, we will consider applicants from the greater Brisbane area with a start and finish on-site arrangement with transportation provided.

Remuneration:

$60/Hour, Flat rate + Super. $100/day meals allowance, company provided accommodation whilst away.
