About the role

PDR GROUP PTY LTD' is seeking experienced Horizontal Directional Drillers, HDD Locators, and Vacuum Truck Drivers for a casual / full time positions, based in Narangba, Queensland. As a key member of our construction team, you will operate specialised equipment to install underground utility pipelines and cables safely and efficiently.

What you'll be doing

Operate horizontal directional drilling equipment to install underground utilities such as pipes and cables

Perform vacuum truck operations to safely expose and locate underground utilities

Collaborate with the wider construction team to ensure project timelines and safety standards are met

Maintain detailed records of all drilling, locating, and vacuum truck activities

Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure a safe work environment

What we're looking for

Experience as a Horizontal Directional Driller, HDD Locator, or Vacuum Truck Operator in the construction industry

Proficient in the use of specialised equipment such as HDD rigs, locating devices, and vacuum trucks

Strong understanding of underground utility installation methods and safety protocols

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to navigate complex project challenges

Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
