About the Role:

WorkPac is currently in search of a Maintenance Fitter to join our esteemed client's team based in Ballarat. This position is based on a Monday to Friday afternoon roster, full time hours.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance on machinery

Carry out upgrades and repairs to mechanical equipment

Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, automated and materials handling systems

Undertake welding, minor fabrication, and machining tasks

Ensure compliance with all OHS policies and procedures

Participate in safety projects and improvement initiatives

Support production teams by keeping equipment reliable and efficient

Skills and Experience:

Trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter (or equivalent)

Experience with preventative and breakdown maintenance

Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated machinery

Skills in welding, minor steel fabrication, and machining (lathes/milling)

Understanding of safety and compliance systems (OHS)

Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities

Must be able to pass a medical and police check
