What you need to know...
• permanent 76 hours per fortnight
• the package: $64,142 to $76,491 plus superannuation per annum
• location: Townsend, NSW
• 9 day fortnight
About the role
Are you organised, proactive, and ready to make a difference in your local community?
Clarence Valley Council is seeking a dedicated Stores Officer to join our Finance and Supply Team in Townsend. This is your opportunity to play a key role in the efficient delivery of materials and services that support Council operations across our stunning region.
As a Stores Officer, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining Council’s stores, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of goods, and supporting depot operations. You'll coordinate materials for essential projects, maintain inventory systems, assist with general depot maintenance, and help implement safe and effective work practices.
To be considered for this position you will need to:
• Address the essential requirements of the role as per position description
• Supply relevant certificates and licences
• Attach a cover letter (2 pages maximum) and an up-to-date resume (5 pages maximum) that clearly details your skills & experience as relevant to this position. You will need to demonstrate how you meet the focus capabilities and how your skills will enable you to achieve the key accountabilities.
• Target questions - answer the target questions - maximum 300 words each question

Other important information
This position is located at Council's Townsend Depot, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
A probation period applies to this position.
