The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Open House Project Officer to join our team on a casual basis for a short-term assignment. This role is pivotal in supporting the coordination and delivery of key initiatives, including Open House Hobart and other public and member-focused events.
You will assist with the development, delivery and execution of the Open House Hobart program and associated events. You will ensure all project milestones are delivered on time and within budget and serve as the primary point of contact for members and industry stakeholders participating in events.
You will need to maintain accurate records, track budgets, and uphold high standards of administrative support as well as engage and manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless and memorable event experience for members.
What You'll Bring:
Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in administration or program/project management, or a similar role, experience in a member focused organisation is a bonus
Financial management skills with experience working with budgets
Strong stakeholder management abilities with experience working with professionals and volunteers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
Interest in architecture and the built environment sector
