Our client is a large not-for-profit provider with residential aged care and retirement living homes across New South Wales. They are seeking an experienced aged care clinician to join their team in a permanent full-time role at their medium-sized residential aged care home in Armidale.

About the opportunity:

• Permanent full-time, Monday – Friday
• Reporting directly to the Facility Manager, you will provide clinical oversight of the home
• Mentor and support nurses and care staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
• Aged care experience is essential; candidates with exclusively hospital or home care backgrounds will not be considered

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to ensure residents receive safe, high-quality care
• Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to support individual goals and preferences
• Build strong, trusting relationships with residents and their families
• Lead, guide, and mentor care staff to provide personalised care
• Oversee medication management in line with best practice and regulatory standards
• Support operational initiatives and contribute to ongoing quality and service improvements
• Drive team performance while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration

Essentials:

• Current, unrestricted AHPRA Registration
• Proven experience in an Australian or NZ aged care setting
• Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role within aged care
