About the role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this full-time Operations Manager role is a key leadership position within Katungul Aboriginal Regional Health and Community Services, located in Narooma, NSW. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organisation, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services to the local community.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement operational plans and strategies to achieve the organisation's goals and objectives

Manage and oversee all operational departments, including administration, clinics, programs, and facilities

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and internal policies and procedures

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery

Manage and lead a team of dedicated staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities

Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute the organisation's strategic vision

Represent the organisation externally and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and partner organisations

What we're looking for

Significant experience (8+ years) in a senior operations management role, preferably within an AMS or community services sector

Demonstrated success in leading and managing multifunctional teams to achieve operational excellence

Strong understanding of operational processes, systems, and best practices, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Proven track record of driving change and delivering results in a complex, regulated environment

Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and compliance requirements
