About the Position

The role of ‘Service Lead - Young People’ is responsible for creating and managing safe, inclusive spaces in the City of Cockburn where children and young people aged 0–24 years can connect socially and engage in programs, activities, and events. The role also provides personalised support to help young people strengthen life skills, enhance health and wellbeing, and foster personal development.
Youth Services
Cockburn Youth Services offers a wide range of innovative programs and initiatives designed to support and inspire children and young people while strengthening their communities. Our services include the Cockburn Youth Centre, child and youth development opportunities, holiday programs, group activities and events, individual outreach support, youth justice mentoring, and digital engagement initiatives. We are committed to celebrating diversity, fostering inclusion, and recognising the valuable contributions children and young people bring to our community.

As part of your application, you will be required to address the Essential Criteria as listed in the Position Description.
Salary: $128,545 - $137,086 per annum (Level 9), depending on qualifications and experience.
Hours: Full-time, 38 hours per week, with a 9-day fortnight.
