About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join a growing non-bank lender based in Brisbane. Reporting to the Credit Manager, you'll be responsible for the assessment, review, and recommendation of loan applications in line with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.

You’ll work closely with a supportive team including brokers, settlements, and operations staff to deliver timely and accurate credit decisions that align with the company’s risk appetite.

This is a full-time position with a hybrid work arrangement. Initial onboarding will be conducted in-office (4–6 weeks), with flexibility to work from home once training is completed and signed off.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess broker-referred loan applications in line with company credit policy
• Manage your own pipeline through the end-to-end loan process
• Respond to queries from brokers and internal teams regarding credit matters
• Verify financial, employment, and credit data to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Maintain adherence to all relevant lending regulations and compliance standards
• Achieve daily KPIs while maintaining high quality and accuracy
• Contribute to a collaborative team with general support and ad hoc duties as needed

About You

• Previous experience in a credit assessment or analyst role
• Solid understanding of lending principles, credit policy, and risk assessment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
• Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working independently and within a team in a hybrid environment
