Storeperson / Forklift Operator

• $69k + Super ($35 per hour)

The Company
Our client, based in Derrimut, is an Australian company with operations in over 20 branches across Australia and New Zealand. With more than 55 years of experience in the electrical and engineering industries, they specialise in motor control, power distribution, and automation systems.

Your duties will include, but not limited to:

• Picking and packing orders using RF scanners and palletising stock for dispatch
• Receiving and despatching goods, including completing relevant documentation
• Performing inventory control and general warehouse housekeeping
• Operating mobile plant equipment (including high reach forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and pallet wrappers), and assisting with manual handling, including container unloading
• High reach forklift operation (approx. 20% of the role)

To be successful, you will need to have:

• A solid background in warehousing; a Certificate in Warehousing Operations is highly regarded
• A valid LF forklift licence and confidence working with warehouse systems (e.g. RF scanners, voice picking, or inventory software)
• Experience in fast-paced warehouse environments, with a strong focus on quality control and safe work practices
• Basic to intermediate computer skills and strong organisational ability
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a small, supportive team (up to 12 staff onsite)
• Physically fit and comfortable performing hands-on warehouse tasks

Hours & Pay Rate:
7am till 3pm Monday to Friday
$69k + Superannuation ($35 per hour)
