The Role

The Warehouse Store Person/ forklift operator role is an integral part of our business. The role will need to be confident managing the demands of a wide range of tasks in a very busy environment

In this role you will:

Operate Crown High-Reach forklifts (Fork licence a must)

Pick orders in a clean and accurate manner

Identify and report safety hazards and risks

Pack orders neatly, and in an organised manner to ensure they meet our customers’ expectations

Liaise with Transport Carriers on pickups and deliveries

Perform stock cycle-counts as directed

Maintain cleanliness of warehouse

Load / Unload shipping containers

Communicate with Account Managers regarding stock discrepancies

Communicate effectively with Warehouse Management and Stock Controller

Liaise with other warehouse team members, production staff, external logistics/transport teams to ensure an effective and efficient daily operation

Be an active functional member of the warehouse

Remove and dispose of all rubbish daily

Keep warehouse clean and tidy as per expectations set by Warehouse Manager

Other duties as requested by senior staff

What we are looking for:

Previous warehouse experience a must

Forklift licence & high reach experience a must

High attention to detail in fast paced environments

Ability to manage conflicting deadlines with accuracy

Confidence in decision making & foreseeing unexpected speedbumps

Task focused and methodical

Excellent time management skills

Enthusiastic and highly energetic

Physically fit

Reliable

Ability to work in a team

Highly motivated

Not afraid of hard work and putting in the extra miles when needed
