Gough Recruitment are seeking a Senior Estimator that is experienced in Residential and Commercial projects for a longstanding client with an excellent reputation in market. They get a significant amount of repeat business as they deliver a high level of service to their clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full estimating process from tender to submission across residential and commercial projects.
• Analyse drawings, plans, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities.
• Source competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating terms where required.
• Collaborate with Directors and project teams to ensure budgets align with client and delivery requirements.
• Review tender documentation, identify risks and value opportunities, and provide ongoing cost advice.

Key Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ estimating experience within residential and commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and cost planning.
• Proven ability to deliver accurate tenders on projects up to multi-million-dollar value.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Proficiency in estimating software and MS Excel; exposure to Procore advantageous.
