About the role

B&S Engineering is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team. In this full-time position based in Cheltenham VIC 3192, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high quality and safety standards of our manufacturing processes and end products. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing our products at various stages of production to identify and address any quality issues.

What you'll be doing

Measuring and inspecting components using precision tools and CMM

Programming, setting up, and running the CMM (training provided)

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Performing dimensional checks and reporting results

Working with the production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues

Maintaining accurate inspection records and documentation

Helping maintain a clean, safe, and productive workshop

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector or a similar role in a manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of quality control principles, techniques, and tools

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and quality control documentation

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and quality standards
