Their state-of-the-art facilities are designed to enhance both the patient and staff experience, creating a seamless and supportive environment for exceptional care. They are now seeking an experienced Medical Administrator - Onboarding Concierge to join their team in Bowen Hills.
About the Role & Responsibilities
As the Medical Administrator – Onboarding Concierge, you will report to the Practice Manager. You will play a vital role in ensuring veterans have a seamless and supportive onboarding experience to healthcare programs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing inbound referrals via online forms, phone, and email.
- Triaging veterans into the most appropriate patient journey and conducting eligibility checks.
- Booking consultations with doctors, nurses, and specialists while ensuring accuracy and clear communication with veterans.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop and refine healthcare pathways.
- Recording onboarding steps and maintaining accurate documentation in Best Practice.
- Providing proactive follow-up to minimise lost leads and ensure veterans have timely access to care.
- Producing weekly reports on onboarding activities and KPIs.
- Ensuring compliance with confidentiality, privacy, and healthcare standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist, administrator, or in a healthcare/veteran-focused setting.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices.
- Proficiency in Best Practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organisational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- A compassionate, patient-centred approach with strong communication abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Full working rights in Australia
- A current police check.
