The Role
They’re looking for a Leading Hand Carpenter to step onto new build projects and take control on site. You’ll support the Site Manager, direct trades, and keep the program moving—while still being hands-on with the tools when required.
Most importantly, you’ll be paired with an experienced Site Manager who will guide, mentor, and train you into becoming the next generation of leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead carpentry crews and subcontractors on site.
• Read plans, set out, and maintain high standards of workmanship.
• Keep site safety and organisation under control.
• Support the Site Manager with reporting and coordination.
• Learn, grow, and take on more responsibility with every project.

About You

• Trade-qualified Carpenter with residential or commercial new build experience.
• Prior Leading Hand or Foreman experience highly regarded.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on, hardworking, and ready to step into more responsibility.
• Keen to grow into a Site Manager role with the right guidance.
