Job Description:
Smokin Joe’s Pizza & Grill – Gisborne is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced environment and be passionate about delivering high-quality meals to our valued customers.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing and cooking a variety of menu items including pizzas, grills, and sides

Ensuring consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control

Following food safety and hygiene standards at all times

Assisting with stock control and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen

Working collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service

Maintaining kitchen equipment and reporting any issues to management

This role requires reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
