EIR Group
Posted 11 hours ago
EIR Labour Hire is a fast-growing labour hire company specialising in Construction, Manufacturing, and Warehousing. We focus on placing GREAT people into casual roles and keeping them there by looking after them well.
This role is based in Pyrmont, Sydney, with hours from 9:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
We’re now looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic person to join our small Sydney team and kick-start their career with a Business or Business Administration Traineeship.
What’s in it for you?
Full-time, Monday to Friday, standard business hours
Learn how a successful recruitment and labour hire business runs from the inside
Exposure to recruitment, administration, sales, marketing, work health & safety, and more
On-the-job training and mentorship from industry professionals who know the game
An opportunity to grow your career in Recruitment or Administration — you choose your path
A workplace where you’ll do more than just the boring admin jobs
Team lunches, regular celebrations of success, and a friendly, supportive culture
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be completing your Certificate III in Business Administration over a 12-month period, while learning every aspect of how we operate. You’ll be supporting our sales and recruitment teams in Sydney and Brisbane.
Key duties include:
Supporting the sales and recruitment team with all things admin
Greeting candidates and clients, and making them feel welcome
Screening calls from customers and candidates to get them to the right person quickly
Answering phones, directing calls, and responding to worker queries
Assisting with onboarding new talent and new customers, including introducing them to our online apps and portals
Scheduling interviews and appointments for candidates
Preparing documents and reports using Google Suite
Maintaining and updating our social media platforms
Ordering office supplies and keeping things running smoothly
What we need from you?
A commitment to learning and personal development
Willingness to learn all aspects of our recruitment and sales operations
Strong communication skills — verbal and written
Great organisational skills and attention to detail
A positive, can-do attitude
Commitment to attend and complete TAFE studies for your Cert III
Must be able to work 9:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
An understanding of the blue-collar and manual labour industries — whether from previous work experience, or through family or friends in those fields — will help you connect with our workers, maximise your effectiveness, and enjoy the role even more
Please note: This role is not open to candidates who have already completed a Cert III or higher in Business or Business Administration.
Award & Pay
You will be paid under the Clerks – Private Sector Award (MA000002).
