About the Role & About You
Are you passionate about supporting families and early childhood development? Join us as a Supported Playgroup Facilitator. You'll deliver engaging playgroup sessions and in-home coaching for families experiencing disadvantage - using the Smalltalk program to build parenting confidence and support children's learning.
This role involves planning age-appropriate activities, facilitating parent-child interactions, and linking families to community services. You'll also manage referrals, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with internal and external partners. A Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, or equivalent is required, along with experience working with vulnerable families. Strong interpersonal skills, cultural competence, and knowledge of the VEYLDF are essential.
A current (and ongoing) Working with Children Check, Police Check, First Aid & CPR certification, and Victorian Driver's License are mandatory.

The successful candidate will be asked to produce a clear Working with Children Check and will be asked to consent to a national police check (and where relevant an 'international criminal history check'), subject to the operation of spent conviction laws.
