Customer Service Officer - Civic Centre (Casual)
Level 2 - $33.63 to $44.83 per hour + 12% superannuation

The Role

Based between the Town of Port Hedland's Civic Centre and Wedgefield Depot, this casual position offers flexible working hours and an attractive casual hourly rate.

As Customer Service Officer you will be responsible for providing professional and efficient customer service to all internal and external customers. Within this role, you will represent the Town of Port Hedland and ensure all front-desk, phone call and online enquiries are handled professionally. You will use your strong administration skills to raise customer requests, receipt and reconcile payments to the Town as well as assist with the development and administration of customer service procedures and policies.

Our ideal applicant will have excellent time management skills, high attention to detail and have a proactive attitude. You will require a high level of writing and verbal communication skills, as well as fast and efficient data entry skills.

Work Related Requirements

The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:

  • National Police Clearance
  • Current 'C' class drivers license
  • Rights to work in Australia
