We are a fast-growing accounting firm in Brisbane. We deal with all facets of taxation, superannuation, Business Services, Consulting, Wealth Creation, Business Restructuring, State and Federal Tax Compliance, GST and Business Setup, self managed super funds. We pride ourselves on offering valued, timely advice and service to all our valued clients. Our prosperity in business and increased clientele have warranted us the opportunity to look for a full-time bookkeeper to join our team based in Greenslopes, Brisbane.
We need someone who has the followings:
At least 1 year experience with Australian public practice accounting firm
Comprehensive knowledge of GST, PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, salary and wages, single touch payroll
Experience preparing BAS, IAS and individual income tax return
Experience in doing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll
Experience using Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, tax agent portal, MS office
A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Permanent resident or Australian citizen
Has ability to meet strict deadlines
Proven bookkeeping experience handling multiple clients
Bachelor degree in accounting or similar degree
Have an ambition to develop career in accounting and finance
Tasks will include:
Accounts Payable & accounts receivable in xero, MYOB, Quickbooks
Reconciliation of bank accounts, loans, credit card and other general ledger accounts.
Payroll processing including superannuation for business clients
Preparation of BAS, IAS & individual tax return
Understanding and creating Journal Entries
Ability to assist clients with bookkeeping related queries
General office administration including filing and postage
Financial Reporting and forecasting for business clients
Correspondence with clients regarding their bookkeeping, BAS, IAS preparation
Answering and attending to clients' queries via the telephone, email and postage
Collecting and posting mail, daily bank
Financial data entry
Debtor collections
You must also have the ability to:
Communicate with clients in a friendly and confident manner
Multitask and work on various clients
Maintain a high level of client confidentiality
Ability to work independently, with strong self-organisational and time management skills
Team player who works well in a collaborative environment
Capacity to think critically
Enjoy being part of a dynamic busy team
Good work ethic
