The Client

Our client is a highly respected, fast paced family law practice located in Perth CBD. High staff retention means opportunities here are rare. However a role has become available for an experienced Legal Assistant to support two fee-earners on a full-time basis.

The Role
This is a pivotal role in the team and you will engaged in all aspects of a legal support role including:-

• Email and file management (electronic).
• Compiling disclosure documents.
• Diary management, scheduling appointments and monitoring deadlines for fee earners.
• Document preparation, including letters and Family Court forms.
• Liaising with clients and other firms and providing assistance where appropriate.
• Other administration and ad hoc duties.

About You
To be successful in this role you will possess the following attributes:

• 2+ years prior experience in a similar role.
• Above average organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Self-motivated with an above average work ethic.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent typing skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Previous experience in Family Law preferred.
