Finance Officer
Salary: $65k - $72k + super
Hours: Full-time
Location: CBD - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Finance Officer, you'll be an integral part of the Finance team, supporting a range of accounting functions and working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Accountant, this role will suit someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and looking to broaden their finance experience in a thriving business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receipt, allocate and reconcile funds

Assist in administering Trust accounts and general financial records

Collaborate with the Claims team to ensure accurate and timely payments

Support accounts payable: expense classification and supplier payments

Assist with month-end close, journal preparation, and account reconciliations

Help prepare and lodge statutory charges (BAS, PAYG, ESL, Stamp Duty)

Provide general finance and admin support across the business

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

1+ years in an accounting support or finance role

Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills

Desire to progress towards CA or CPA qualification
