Shire of Mundaring is seeking a dedicated and skilled Community Development Officer to join the Community, Culture and Visitor Experience team on a six month fixed term contract.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

· Develop and deliver community engagement strategies and initiatives.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with community groups, stakeholders, and service providers.

· Support the planning and evaluation of community development projects.

· Promote equity, inclusion, and cultural awareness in all aspects of your work.

· Prepare reports, potential funding submissions, and work within Strategy deliverables

· Promote and support volunteering in line with Shire policy and procedure.

· Knowledge of community funding programs such as Smarty Grants would be favourable.

A salary in the range of $87,933 to $92,769 will be offered dependent on skills, ability and experience.
