About the Role:

• This permanent part-time position (4 days per week / 30.4 hours)
• Full responsibility for the fortnightly payroll process
• Maintain payroll system: onboarding, terminations, salary changes
• Interpret and apply multiple EBAs and Awards
• Respond to payroll queries regarding pay, superannuation, and entitlements
• Ensure compliance with ATO requirements, including Single Touch Payroll
• Run end of month and end of financial year processes and reconciliations
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and maintain policy compliance

Skills and Experience

• Previous payroll experience in a similar end to end role is essential.
• Sound knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation and ATO compliance.
• Experience interpreting Awards, EBAs, and relevant workplace legislation.
• Previous use of Chris21 or iChris is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and communication skills.
• Experience in the public sector or a regulated environment preferred.
